drunkyoda powdercoating is near permanent. the only way your truely going to get it off is if you take a screw driver and sit there and scratch at it... or curb it... you should clean your wheels a little more once their powdercoated because the salt will eat at it. i would say clean your wheels once a week. maybe every other week.

NX_Focus powder coat last long for sure. it is a powder baked on at 450 deg plus. cost a bit more to.

not sure about where u are but this is the cost here
powder coat on a 17" svt wheel is 75. for them to clean & prep it takes cost to 100.oo
painting has a lot to go into it. but cost will come out to be 50 to 75.

powder coating rims

Im wanting to reinstall my factory rims. But before i do so i would like to powder coat the black. Im aware. That im gunna have to prep, then sand, primer, paint, clear coate. And ive done a lil research but still have a couple of questions

will painting the rim or powdercoating last? How long?

And what sand grit should i use to?

Ive also looked into using vht products. But is it reliable and will it last like they state it does. I know alot has to do with preping but any suggestions will b nice
