My name is Hayden and this is my focus Stella, STELLA! I purchased my titanium hatchback in September, and it's been a dream ever since! Coming from my '98 Buick LeSabre, this car is an incredible improvement! My wife sure is jealous 😁 (since she now drives the Buick). Anyways, I have some future plans for her as money allows for it. I want to hopefully add a CAI, New exhaust system, tune it, add headers, full suspension kit, and finally New summer tires when mine where out. It was already tinted when I picked her up so that was taken care of. I'm also going to paint her a little with Plasti Dip, I just can't make up my mind on how to do it and with what colors.
I'm looking forward to becoming more involved with the forum as I own my car longer! All of this is so exciting, I feel like a kid in a candy shop!
Here she is right after I picked her up.
Here she is after I added the fender stripes. I LOVE the fender stripes.
Finally, here she is with her new winter shoes!

Hi guys, wazzup?
I bought Ford Focus month ago and gave him some modifications, but only vision mods =)
What do you all think about it??maybe better to repaint it in another color?

I had a '12 se with the auto, and the only time it ever lurched, was when I would let off the gas just before it shifted... Wrecked it just shy of 35000km and it never had an issue...

|SLJ7777||I had a 2014 SE with no automatic transmission/lurching issues and traded it in at 15,000 miles for a 2015 SE with the sport package and options I wanted. At 7,000 it's given me no trouble either. I tend to drive it aggressively and I think that's what the dual clutch likes. It's not a little old ladies car. My wife had a 2003 with 140,000 miles and no auto tranny trouble either.|

I currently drive a 1998 Mustang V6, I have had it for 16 years and have 247,000 miles on it. I'm considering buying either a new Focus or a lightly used Fusion in the next few months. I'm on here because I have heard a lot of not-so-great things about the Focus dual clutch automated manual powershift transmission.
I signed up here to get current Focus owner's opinions. Do a lot of you still have trouble with the newer Focus's powershift transmissions, even after all the updates from the Ford dealers? If you were in my place, would it put you off buying a new Focus? Would you go for a used Fusion instead? I have driven both extensively myself, and the only thing holding me back from the Focus is that the rentals I have driven all have the lurching issues at low speeds, even the 2015 I rented.
Thanks for your feedback.

|stang67gt||For a $100! Very nice! I plan on putting in mini H1 in my focus as well. Loving the block heater plug...I do not miss the cold!|
