|BLRich1||If you have a tune for 91 you can put 93 in with no issues. You would only be saving a few cents trying to blend your own, it wouldn't be worth it.|

|MacAttack||I just thought of something. Midgrade gas is mixed anyway, right? So would I be able to fill up with equal parts 89 and 93 to get 91 in places that don't have 91? Or am I way off there?|

93 is more common in the areas I travel.
But I wouldn't run anything less with my particular setup.

|BLRich1||Just another thought, if your performance mods in your profile are at all up to date, you probably won't notice any performance gain between 91 and 93 octane.|

But, the other way, going with a 91 tune and 93 octane wouldn't be as bad. Not going to get the same performance or gas milage, but at least it wouldn't be harmful to the engine.
It pisses me off that this stuff isn't listed on the companies' websites.

|BLRich1||You can always have them make more than one file for you. Around here 91 is the highest I can find but I know when traveling 93 is fairly accessible but if you ever travel and can't find a 93, better safe than sorry. [/poorly structured, run on sentence]|

91 or 93 Octane, which is more common?
I was under the assumption that only Shell would have 93/94 octane, but on my way home from work today I noticed the gas station closes to my house has 87/89/93.
Trying to find octane levels for gas stations is hell online
I'm getting a tune, and originally I was going to go with 91, but now I'm starting to wonder if 93 would have been the better option?
I know with 91 I won't get knocks if I end up being forced to go with 93, but the other way around would cause knocks. 91 may seem safer, but if 93 is more common, and if it would give a better boost in performance, I'd rather go with that.
So, which is more common/what do you think I should go with?
