MacAttack Well I think I'll give it a shot. I haven't heard a single bad thing about tuning, so why not?

1turbofocus No 2 Foci are the same so that would be very hard to say

MacAttack Ok I just drove a few hundred miles and this was all I could think about. Would I see a real improvement despite the fact that I haven't done too much to my Focus?

MacAttack Thinking out loud here in case anyone else is considering this:
If new hardware is needed, I could always sell the old flasher, and buy the new one.
It seems like this is going be stuck in my head until I either buy one or get a new focus. I just wish I could tell how much improvement I'll really see.

We do not know yet. Until we have a car or processor it's too difficult to tell what will be needed hardware wise. We should be able to get it added to current hardware but these new processors are starting to get tricky.

Blivit The ST is not available in any form yet. In order for us to add support we have to have a vehicle or processor. Once that happens I would expect at least 6 months before tuning support is available. This may or may not require new hardware meaning if you buy something now you may or may not be able to use it on the ST.

So, I would say worrying about the ST right now should be the least of your concerns. Get a tune for what you have now.

MacAttack Ah, so this thread was a bit pointless then, eh?
My sent box showed no messages, so I assumed it didn't send.

Now I just have to figure out whether or not I should just wait until I get an ST, or go for it now and enjoy the tune for about a year.

Would a tune on my current Focus really offer $150 worth of improvement? I'm planning on getting one for the ST, regardless, so the only additional cost would be for the new tune. If I get it now, I'd pay $150 for the new tune for the ST. So, would a tune improve the driving experience enough to warrant the extra $150 out of pocket?
