FocusBoy58 Street modified vs evo and sti on slicks vs me on street tires I ran a 43.377 and the fastest in my class was 42.311... Not to bad with street tires vs slicks on a NA focus... I enjoyed every second though!

Edit: they put me in the wrong class I was the fastest in SMF! Dominants control arms and chassis braces and focussports upper stress bars I would have to thank! Car ran amazingly can't wait to get my road race tires and go back!

wrc_fan Are you talking tube chassis, tube subframe, or tube suspension links (or both)? Either way, it would be street modified fwd at the least.

FocusBoy58 I think im street prepared but who knows now... Ill see what they say this weekend when they see the under of my car and go HOLY CRAP! I can hear it now "yo dude watch this focus run its got a tube chassis"

What would i be in now? the Tube components arent enough to put me in modified is it? I dont have my powerworks on and my turbo kit surely wont be on by this weekend

wrc_fan I think its a good fit, it won't be as quick as the Neon SRT-4, or some of the other GS cars. Someone just has to develop one to be as quick as a non-S neon or a mazda 3.

GodLovesUgly next weekend is our 4th event as well! it's our second two day event, which are the best. (should have been 7th but go snowed out :( )

i totally agree with you about the DSP classing... that's what kept me from going into a street prepared class. if it were FSP... whoaaa it would be so fun.
i would never have a shot at the BMW's locally. very good drivers paired w/ RightWheelDrive...

switching parts all season on a car that is your daily would be a pain.. especially if you have to work on Monday, swapping over and over would suck.
