tukaniSVT YAY!!! Tires came in. Now I need to wait for the wheels.

Took Tire Rack a Day and half, after I put in the order to get them to me. SWEET!!!

These Hankook R-S3s are Wide and thick ... I like it.

tukaniSVT Thanks man. Well, our next event is the last weekend of January ... so I still have a week and a half. Ordered them yesterday. So that counts today and tomorrow ... leaving it open to be here by wednesday - thursday ... here's to me crossing my fingers.

I don't want to go to AutoX on my current 17" with the Yokohama S.Drives. Nice tires for daily ... not so good for AutoX.

GodLovesUgly as mentioned before, i get mine in 1 business day. mine almost always ship from Nevada. you're in TX so i would imagine you would get them by the weekend.

eliaslincoln depending on availably of the tires and where you live. i've seen tires in 2-6 business days.

tukaniSVT Well, I placed my order and I have been persuaded by the majority.

Thanks guys.

So, I ordered the Hankook R-S3s and found some 16" rotas ... yippie ... can't wait for all of that to come in next week.

... Curiosity ... I have only ordered from Discount Tire for tires in the past, how long does it take TireRack to send off the tires and make it to your home? Usually?

Thanks again guys.

tukaniSVT Thanks. I was just going for the size because it was the last that was recommended to me.

I will look into those tires and see what I can get for a deal on them.

Thanks everyone. Very helpful.

And yeah ... eww at those Dunlaps. Thanks for the info on the Kumhos, eliaslincoln.

illinipo well there you go no less than 4 experienced and successful autocrossers recommending the R-S3... seems like a no-brainer to me, even if the size isnt quite what youre looking for.

eliaslincoln just to throw out another tire. i ran BFG KDW 2's one year. as for a DD tire i like them and they worked well for me for autocross. also i found them "god-like" in the wet. awesome tread design. and not overly expansive compared to some tires.

pkolator Man thats a lot of pickup. I know several turbo tractors that run the Dunlops. One of them being a two driver car. They ran them to the cords and loved them.

I agree the RS3 is a top tier street tire.

I will add that the XS is not a good wet tire in my experience.
