wmcclendon I've been completely surprised by the clutch. I do heel and toe at all down shifts though and they are mostly all expressway miles. Used to work 60 miles from home, but I've paired that back now to only 45 :(

Mine failed after 120k! Even THAT was an insane amount of mileage to put on the stock clutch. Took out my tranny with it!

No major issues and still running the original clutch.

brianphelan1968 2004 ZX3 2.3 auto all stock, no mods... 184,000 (aggressive) miles and is running strong. I try to stay on top of the small stuff and fix things when they need it. But still, I call it 'the little red racer' because I drive it like I'm on a circuit when just commuting to work and back. I cannnot drive it slow and middle aged even though I myself am slowing down and aging haha! I just love my focus and plan to keep it for another 100,000 miles, and driving it the way i have been for the last 180k! And thanks to all of you for your posts and input that I've come to rely on to help me keep this on the road. Your advise and 'know how' make this forum my go to guide for EVERYTHING relating to our cars... (mama drives an 08 mazda 3) Stay Focused... stay in the race!
