Most turbo setups will not be routed this way because of where the coolant tank is located. I moved mine.
No pic of the IC box yet.

Thanks Tom. I'll post more pics later.
I agree 100% that boxing the intercooler helped the most while moving, with the duct being a minor player.
Wrapping the ambient pipe is what helped the idle temps. I have stainless steel piping too, so when it gets hot it stays hot longer than aluminum.
It made a great difference not pre-heating the piping in the staging lanes.

Turbo Turtle very cool. i dont think you will loose any sleeper points with that. no one will ever notice. i want to do mine sleeper as well but my ic is much larger and i dont want it covered my my bumper either... i havent boxed mine in yet but i will before i am finished.

1turbofocus The boxing helped the most , making the air go through the cooler is whats needed and looks like you did a good job of that

Agree getting cool air to the filter does nothing as long as its located in a cooler spot already meaing not by the header or in front of the Raid

By getting lower IAT you will gain some TQ so the lower you can get them the better , I am amazed at how little people concentrate in this area to pick up a few pound foot of TQ
