|redbuzz||I just reached 39 mpg. on my last highway trip. Cheap gas, 70-80 mph.,stock 2012 base model, 5-speed manual, flat Illinois roads. Odometer 17,000 miles. This result was arrived at by filling the tank, zeroing the trip odo., getting on the interstate and driving 392 miles, just before the gas light came on I filled up the tank with 9.87 gallons of cheap gas and did the math|

|Humphrey||Whether it does or doesn't improve MPG, it is still s#!t. What you gain in MPG, you lose elsewhere.|

There is no way ethanol improves mpg.
It has less energy in it. Your foot gives you better mpg.

|Hardline||91 works for me if I limit myself to 13 PSI, mor than that and the knock sensor hears things it doesnt like. 91 here is E10 too, I can't find any non-ethanol pump gas anywhere. I try to stay away from race fuel also, as lead kills catalytic converters rather quickly, and widebands too.|

Then more power to ya.
I'm a motorsports guy. Two strokes. So I absolutely hate ethanol. Thank god they have 91 non ethanol here.

Gallon Of E85 - $3.09
Gallon of Sunoco 110 - $10+
I do not consume E85 at 3 times the rate of gasoline, only about 30% more. My fuel system was planned out to be E85 capable.

I really hope your fuel system is set up to run e85.
I hate ethanol. With a passion.
It can become non existent IMO.
Waste of money. Burns so much faster it isn't worth the cheaper price.
