|Tundrafoci||TBH I really love the new mk3.5's very nice design something about honeycomb grills just does it for me. Smaller is fine for std. sport model (st) gets wider/more agressive front, RS gets nice distinction from the rest but same overall shape if you ask me.|

2016 Focus RS: .355
2013-2014 Focus ST: .30
2012-2014 Focus MkIII hatch: .295
2012-2014 Focus MkIII sedan: .274
2013+ Mazda3 hatch: .28
2013+ Mazda3 sedan: .26
2011+ Hyundai Elantra: .28
The only place where it looks like Ford modified the design strictly for aero to me is the 2015+ Focus Electric. They made the grill even smaller, changed the headlight shape (older style?), hood shape, flipped the lower grill, deleted fogs and made significant changes to the curvature and lines in the lower front fascia. The fog light area on the Electric seems to be designed to minimize drag over the front wheel wells.

I've had both a '14 and a '15. I like the looks of the '15.
Granted it does look like the rest of the Ford line up but if you notice almost every manufacturer has a model that has very similar lines now. Is it just copying or is the aerodynamics refining itself? Probably more copying but aerodynamics is I think part of the reason.
My wife liked the looks of the '14 better at first, me not so much. She agrees now that the front of the '15 has better lines and looks as she say, "more refined". Myself, I'm not a fan of the A frame grill. The Focus does not look as bad as the Toyota front end. The Toyota is just butt ugly.

|BlueSE12||I love my 2012 SE Sedan with sport package in Blue Candy Metallic. Had a 2007 Sedan but like the 3rd gen better.|

|Codyfox||I agree with you on the taillights, but it definitely needs bigger parking lamp bulbs, they are too small to be effective.|
