sparky34kv Snelski: Hey, that vinyl looks awesome. Where did you get it? My stock HU is really showing it's age, so installing a new on would be great, if i can do one like yours came out it would be just what I need.

Me too... Well, real soon anyway. The harness that came with my stereo has a wire for steering wheel control input. Has that worked for any of you guys without having to buy something else?

Kenwood DDX271 - Double Din

All,

Thanks to Deener for being the pioneer on this install. The install was easy using his method. I am thinking of using the bezel's screw tabs to help hold the radio in place through the use of fabricated brackets. Does anyone have any thoughts on this since it will necessitate the removal of the screw holes in the dash maybe. I guess I won't really know if I have proper clearance until I actually try to install it.

Any other thoughts on fixing the radio into position would also be appreciated. Or is it even needed?

Install JVC DD in 04 ZX3

Thanks for all the advice. I used a Dremel to cut the top edge of the opening in the bezel and to remove the tab on the top left side. Overall I am very pleased with the result.
