I agree with sleepy take a volt meter too it and find the hot wire.

where did you get that real carbon Inlay for the SVT gauges?

sleepyboy I'm thinking it's a ground issue. He did take the dash out and reinstall some parts, then followed by the last stereo install. Something has got to be grounding out or something like that. Has he tried unplugging the cluster and replugging it in?

71shadow It looks normal after a few seconds but as soon as he takes the key out of the ignition it all zero's up but then the water and gas needles go up to half on the gauge and stay there, another weird thing was when he unplugged the battery the water needle went down to zero ok thats normal but the gas needle didn't so whats the deal with that, one guy on facebook said that if it wasnt a ground issue then it might be the cluster is toast idkkk

sleepyboy probably a ground issue somewhere. You did after all remove everything and then put it back in. What does it look like when it's running?
