|Dudes ZX3||Yea that rota wheel has been in my cross hairs for years, just never had the ability to pick up a set. I think they were the slipstreams... in sports bronze... I need to be by myself for a few.|

|Juantron||I was also considering going to a 15". Rota makes a 15X7.5 that I would love to get a set of...and they're sexy.|

Well a update... As I was about to get the Dunlops from TireRack and I somehow got sidetracked and ended up buying a set of 15x7 Sport Edition wheels wrapped in some Kuhmo AST rubber.
Completely the opposite direction I know, but think about it.
RE-11's just dropped in price from $160 (16") to $110 or so for the 15's.
I can use the 16's for around the town, and 15's for auto-x. So I'm not cruising and racing on the same rubber.
The 15's are 16lbs, which ain't great, but it's 4lbs lighter then stock 16's iirc.

|WD40||^^^Definitely give us a report once you hit the course.|

Not to mention the r compounds could surely hide my imperfections, if I wouldn't just destroy them first go round.
I'm dropping the hammer on a set of Dunlop's. I appreciate all your input.

You could pick up a extra set of wheels and buy some hoosiers:
Not only made in the USA, but they are great supporters of novice racing!

^^^No need to worry about the Yok's...
For some reason, the Yokohamas never get good rankings in other tests (Grassroots Motorsports or Car and Driver)
FWIW, here's the latest test I can find online:
^^^Dunlop #1, Kumho #3, but unfortunately no RE-11 tested.
I do know there was a test by Grassroots Motorsports in the June 2009 issue that had the Kumho in 1st place.
(Can't find it online though.)

Nvrmind Yoko doesnt carry my size... I think it's StarSpec.
I can't see spending an xtra 140 for Bidgestones, I'm no PRO!

I don't want to here this about BFG (although I knew I was), I really rather not source my tires from abroad.
Guess I'll debate the StarSpec and Bridgey. And after looking at those charts apparently Yoko.
