Kauai Guy On the other hand, it is awesome when they do give free shipping to here. I had my oem floormats and rear mud flaps shipped here for free.

punkisdead44 whats worse is when a company will ship to APO/FPO address(military in japan, korea, guam, etc) but not here.

YZ04 Yeah I hate when people on the mainland (some not all) act like we're international. I've had someone turn me down for shipping just because I'm in Hawaii. He even offered USPS as a shipping option! Since when does the USPS NOT service a U.S. state? lol people are so funny sometimes...

jmiller_1974 Well, Alaska and Hawai'i are the "Freak States", right? Funny, I still notice that when I see a commercial. It's like My eye is permanently trained to see the *Excludes Alaska and Hawai'i in the mice type...

punkisdead44 and it sucks always seeing the free shipping disclaimers about only the 48 continental states

YZ04 I'm sure being landlocked is better than being ocean-locked. Can't drive the Focus anywhere but here lol.

jmiller_1974 Yeah, it sure can, but I was there last February, and I just know I can't afford to live There, at least not yet. I will make it back. I feel that I need to go camping on the beach again. There is no better feeling,IMO, that compares to the sound of waves crashing on the beach, with the 70-something degree salt air in Your nose...

Ha, yeah that's true. Damn, being landlocked can really suck.

jmiller_1974 I went a few times growing up, but as the waves had to be a certain height to hold the event, it wasn't on every year, sometimes years apart. Great waves this year, but I am far from Home

Oh, I must respectfully disagree, a disease is bad for You, surfing is the best thing You can do to Yourself.

..:: sleestak ::.. I'm with you, Doug. Although I did grow up surfing on the east coast ... so that's the reason I still follow surfing closely. Bad part is that I get homesick - or should I say "oceansick"?

Surfing is a disease you never overcome. One day I hope to get back to the coast so I can get back on a board. Until then, I'll surf down a mountain.
