viney266 I have had the nitrous express 50 shot on there since 4,000 miles and I have 19,000 now, so far no problems at all, I have an injen intake and the kit and a few apperence goodies..I would do more ( wheels in the spring) maybe an exhaust, however the wife is the primary driver of the car ( fifth grade scholl teacher, pretty funny,) I have other fast toys, I am trying to talk her into an exhaust she is afraid of it being to loud...However, all stock parts in the motor..I ahave gone through about 30 lbs of nitrous so far and its just fine, the clutch is holding up very well, I can still catch second gear without the nitrous. We dive it pretty normal most of the time , but not slow and I do reg. maintenence, but so far no problems at all....
Yeah, I take it easy with the kids in the car ,too, but my daughter wass telling a friend of hers at school the other day about the fact that her mommies ( the 5th grade teacher) car had nitrous!..We thought it was really funny, but still had a little talk with her about not telling everyone about it, it was funny though, her friends mom drives an old mustang and my daughter was one - upping her with the nitrous story..great stuff, seven year old motorhead girls...I love it

FOCUS_ZTS So you are running a 50 shot. Have you been running with that for a long time? Have you upgraded internals? Clutch? Have you had any problems? I ask because I am thinking of going with a 55shot from ZEX in the spring or summer. I just want to know what to do or not to do. Thanks for your info. BTW..... my 3 1/2 year old love when I go fast but I dont really go to hard with him and the other kid(2 1/2) in the car. It funny because as far as they know I have the fastest car ever. lol When they say " push the fast pedal daddy" I jsut make the intake a little louder and they think I'm flying. lol Got to love the kids.

R&DSVTZX5 I'm sure that viney266 would have never put his children in a situation that would have caused any harm to come to his children. Please keep in mind that the race shut off at a 60-70 MPH range no traffic, late at night, red light-straight road-red light. Having two children myself, I feel that as a parent you put your children more at risk on the freeway where speeds far excede those of 60 to 70 MPH (by drivers other than yourself). It was a great race, his children seemed to really enjoy it, viney enjoyed it, heck....my children giggle when you just rev up the motor and get a little wheel spin. My point is, and maybe I going over board here; no harm came, he won, in a wagon at that, kids loved it, everyone had a blast except the poor punk that had to face his friends afterwards.

jem0473 I can't believe you raced with your kids in the car. I'm sure you drove carefully but I would never even think about doing that. Maybe it's cuz I'm a female, I dunno. I don't mean any disrespect to you at all....I'm just voicing my opinion.

viney266 Funny you should ask as I do remember. My daughter picked this one up from a friend of mine " woohoo", and my son who is four responded with " you go fast dad", or something along those lines!!
