I really like the light output of the HIDs, don't get me wrong. It throws farther than halogens and is certainly brighter. By the cutoff line, I'm referring to how the light is physically cut in half by the solenoid powered high-beam flap. It doesn't look like a clean straight line from left to right- rather its got two little raises (one from each light) and they're kind of offset from one another. Hard to explain.. something like this

Whereas I want

I'm told the problem occurs simply because you're putting HIDs in a halogen projector. I've adjusted them a tinkered a bunch trying to fix it. If anything I may have to go with the washer method (inserting washers behind the fitting screws) to see if that solves it.

Other than that though, I'm really happy with them... and the projectors themselves look awesome.

These are the ones I bought:

Also sorry for the late reply, not sure why I missed those posts!

The difference in visibility from stock headlights is great. I got the 5000k 35w, and I think once these go, I'm going to buy the same thing again. They really light up everything in your path, including reflective road paint -- very bright. No problems with high beams, and no one flashing their brights at me because they're aimed properly.

SDTricker Yes, please! PM me the link to them! :P

SDTricker After all these years, what would your input be on these headlights? I really want projectors and halos back on my car, but I have no idea which ones to get. Are these the Anzo headlights or just ones from eBay?
How long did they last? They still going strong?

You would be correct, my apologies!

Didn't want any moisture in there so I found some round rubber gaskets and poked a hole in the middle to thread the wire through, and then glued it to the back of the assembly. The metal tab on the bottom is still slightly off, but following the how-to got it in place by poking it with a screwdriver. Everything is 100% plug and play otherwise and works great!

With the stock projector lights installed my visibility is already so much better than the stock-stock headlights. I have some ddm hid's on their way from china as well.

The halos are SO sick and the black finish instead of chrome is a really great accent to the car and matches my grille too.
I got the new eagle eyes earlier this year- updated model as well with the new sidemarker plugs. I've been tempted to strip my HIDs out and go back to the standard halogen H9's or whatever they are... I feel like the HID cutoff is just a bit too shitty inside halogen projectors. Only thing holding me back is that I've read too much about peoples plugs and connections melting cause of the heat- definitely not down for that.
