WD40 Good luck!
And, make sure you read the "Novice Guide to AutoCross" thread:

Oh, and something often missed...
Clean out your car!
I'm talking the console, glove box, any garbage under your seats (if you're one of those folks) etc etc.
You won't believe how distracting that little things rattling around in the glove box can be.

steve35svt We also do a mandatory novice drivers meeting and course walk through after the normal one to help new people learn how to pick proper lines and try to prevent getting lost.

Sorry to jack the thread, but that's a good idea, I think sometimes its difficult for novices to pick out instructors. Or they may be intimidated to go talk to them when you have a big group of experienced drivers talking in a group.

jayel579 Bring water, sunscreen, hat and sunglasses. Get there early, keep an open mind and ask for help from the instructors. You will be lost and slow out there but don't get discouraged. We were all there the first fews times also.

First time

So next week Im thinking about doing autox for the first time, going to run a stock car, just wondering if any of the vets have any pointers.
