This is what I was talking about for the stock belts.
At least, it's a step in the right direction.

Another note on this. At the last event I was at there was a guy there with a Focus with as set of Sparco belts where the "y" ent of the belts just used the stock buckle insert. In other words, snap in , snap out. Just another idea.

|Mr Orange SVT||I came up with a solution. I bought a set of Simpson belts, a Y-belt for the shoulder and the standard lap belt. They came with an eye that I use to replace the bolt that holds in the stock belts. I've changed the ends of the Simpsons so they snap in and out. This still leaves my stock belts in place and I can easily install the 4 points when I go to an event. It cost me about $130 for the set up.|

This is quite the timely thread.
Had a 2 day AutoCross this weekend in Great Falls.
Was looking at a lot of the different setups for 4 points.
Unfortunately, there were no other "Foci" present.
OK, what I'm starting to deduce, (as I want the 4 point to be removeable).
Can't you use the "latch" points in the back for the shoulder belts?
Those would be the mounting points for child safety seats.
Seems it would be easy to use a climbing caribiner for easy mount/dismount to those "latch" points.
Still trying to figure out a convenient mount for the front 2 points though.
On the other hand....
Has anyone tried the locks for standard seat belts?
Don't have a link, (or the proper name), but I'll bring in the info tomorrow.
It's a device that locks the belt, so it doesn't loosen up.
I'm getting really tired of using the twist/wrap method to keep my belt tight.
(twisting the buckle a couple times, then latching it)
It works, but I've heard it's a quick ticket to a broken collar bone if you hit anything.

|blackzx3_13||There is a Silver SVT that autocrosses with me, and he has a 4 point belt, and he has it mounted like the pic in the post above. The two top belts go behind the seat and down where the back rest and the seat part of the rear seat come together. I believe that their just bolted to the floor, but I havent had a chance to look at it up close.|

True, but they form more of a 45-60 degree angle. Not best, but better than straight down.

|all motor||are you talking about the rear seat bolts on the floor? i though harnesses were supposed to be secured at the level of shoulder height, or else they kind of push you down when tightened..|
