I've never had any issue with DDM kits at all. Put them on 4 cars already.

I have had that problem before. its just the Bulb because it uses a magnet to pull back to make the connection for the high beam light. i bet if you get out the next it does it a same whack on the headlight will put it back to low, i just got a new HID bulb.

Are you using Halogens or HIDs? I've had HIDs in them for the entire time they've been on my car, with the exception of 3 days (the HIDs were late getting to me). I've never had anything melt on me. I do have to replace a connector on part of the HID harness since it's 4 years old and was crud to begin with and now makes intermittent connections.

Guess you could always risk opening them up yourself and checking around, or hire someone else to do it.

I believe you could have an internal issue with the LEDs then. I don't know how long you've had your lights but you could always try an RMA with them. Even if you contact them through eBay you won't have any issue. I did that for my tail lights from them when I had several LEDs out. You will have to put down a deposit if you don't have your OEM housing still, and they will refund it minus the cost of shipping.

I was hoping that wasn't it but 80% sure you're right.

The led will come on randomly but it hasn't happened in a while. I got these off someone on her about a year ago! :/

Mine work just fine. They never get stuck. The halogens suck in these housings. Not enough heat dissipation at all. The HIDs run cooler and therefore don't burn and melt anything.

Yeah halos work fine. Swapped out the inverters and same thing.
