First focus I've ever owned. For about 2 years just drove it as a commuter car. It's always been surprisingly quick for a small car, so I sold my 79 280zx and started dumping the money into my focus. Trying to make it look like a nice car again from when I first bought it.

|Mackie1400i||104,812 miles on a 2004 ZX5 with the 2.0 Zetec and automatic transmission. I plan to swap to a manual when I have the time and the money. Not just the time. :) I bought it February 23rd, 2013 with 58,568 miles and haven't gotten tired of it yet. Putting a mixture of Moog and SVT Focus suspension parts helped.|

|jagtwlve||2006 ZX4 SES 161,000 miles. After just replacing the passenger side engine mount ( OEM ) the harmonic buzz is gone and sounds like new. It was a very easy r & r, used a tip to out line old mount position with permanent marker before removal. If I'd known it was so simple, would have done it sooner.|

300K from an SPI is a "miracle"; be glad it lasted that long!
100,000 in general this day and age is 'just broken in'. In the 70's/80's it was rare, and a 'super beater' car.
