bruth I'm thinking a Jeep Wrangler or Cherokee next. I'm not sure I ever want another Ford. My focus has been one thing after another for the last 16 years.

.2001.focus. If money were no issue a 6.2 supercharged fat cat challenger. More realistic would be a 6.1 magnum srt.

felixthecat A L76,LS2, LS3 or a 6.1/6.4 powered car. A LSA would really work great.

.2001.focus. Hmm i cant find what i said would be my next. My guess is a 4.6 thunderbird is what i said. Well i went from my 2001 focus to a 2005 escape limited with the 3.0L and got about 15.8L/100Km average. Then went to a 2005 magnum rt with 5.7L hemi and got 14.9L/100km and never had a single issue (slight lie) so i stuck with the hemi and now i have a 2004 durango with the 5.7L hemi and get 20.4L/100km with the biggest m/t tires i could fit on it. If i recall it got low 18 before the tires

MidLifeinMI I can answer this one honestly, since "next vehicle" is now a reality - went from the ST with 2.0L EcoBoost (252HP) to a Pentastar V6 (290HP). Because the Jeep weighs over a 1000 lbs more than the ST, my mileage has obviously dropped, but not horribly - I now get around 19-20 MPG combined; I was getting about 23-24 combined with the ST.

RonMaiden This thread starts with "ever rising gas prices..." but thankfully 7 years later we are heading into the fall with possible sub $2/gal gas prices. No hybrid or eco-anything for me in the near future.

It turned out that I got a 3.9L V8 since it took nearly 6 months from the time I ordered until I took delivery...
