Do you have any tips which would make the process easier? And post a picutre of how they turned out!

mine are peeling badly, so I decided to strip them down to bare aluminum and start over. I am thinking a nice gun metal grey.
I am using wooden scrapers to remove the paint stripper as it seems to work better than everything else i tried to use.
here are a few pics .

|Red01Focus||the thing with those ses wheels is that the top coat is tinted which is why the silver paints you have tried aren't matching|

Closest off-the-shelf item is probably duplicolors graphite wheel paint. They also have a silver, perhaps you could do a silver layer with the graphite on top of it if it looks too dark on its own?
I used their bronze (with several clear coats over), have been driving on the wheels I painted for about 2 years and 35k miles now, they look almost as good as when I painted them. Very minimal chipping, most (if not all) of the chips that are on there were from small spots that I must have missed a speck of dust or a dab of finger oil during the painting process. Very impressed with the durability of this paint.

I want to do this to mine, only thing is, I want to repaint them the original silver/aluminum that was used from the factory, but I can't find the proper paint codes to use. Anyone have any idea? I've already tried a couple of different silvers on a spare rim and am not getting anywhere close to what I want.
I happen to like the stockers. Duplicating them though..... Has anyone had any luck?

|Red01Focus||bondo has a metal fill which apparently has aluminum in it,i planned on getting some and seeing how it compares to jb weld|

|MisterJohnson||^^The pic isn't showing up for me, but some people use JB Weld, and I've also heard of people melting solder wire into the chip and then filing/sanding it smooth|

Rim Paint Chips and Advice Please
How can I get the paint chip out of this rim? What do you all recomend as far as removing the center piece to paint and make it look better?
