|Schroeder02||That’s the location the Factory sending unit is located, I would check that your oil cooler is also on tight. When I installed my gauge I hade to remove the oil cooler to get the fittings I needed in the car. I also used a high temp thread sealant on all the fittings. The only hard part about working in that location it’s just hard to see anything.|

|nov173||you can buy the plugs... its the same things at the adapter you'd use for the spot by the coil.. cept it is just a plug.. as long as it is the same size thread you'll be fine.|

its in by the filter. and it is wet all around the filter and around where the line taps into the back of the blaock. i think i might plug that hole up and put it in by the coil.. i say i put in a half quart every 500 miles or so ....
any body know what i need to put back into the plug to plug up the hole?? since i didnt install the gauge i wouldnt know

|nov173||check your oil line.. if it is leaking there will be evidence of such. where do you have ur oil line connected at? by the filter or by the coil?|

|Schroeder02||My guess would be your leak, it sound like you have good pressure when your driving. Do you have any idea how much oil your losing.|

I think mine runs about 40 psi when warm 80 at start up and 60 when I'm driving it .

Who has an aftermarket oil pressure gauge?
i have a question. for those of you that have an aftermarket opg in your svt. mechanical preferred.. after your car is warmed up what does it read at idel? before i blew my first motor mine read 40psi, now after having my new motor put it in sits anywhere between 21-25 at idle.. to me that seems kinda low..
any help would be appreciated
