if i tried launching my car at 1700 my 60" foot times would be almost 3 seconds....iono do you have slips?

With my SVT on stock new continentals, CAI, UDPs, mbrp exhaust and short shifter, I ran 9.6s and launched at about 1700 with little tire spin. Anything about 2000 or higher and it wheel hopped like you wouldn't believe.
I can't imagine dumping the clutch at 5300

|1FSTFOC||good news kids .. track meet on july 12th as well... theres a good chance ill be at both, soooo i better see you guys at at least one. there was a douchetool there this weekend that kept running 17.9's with his stock 2 door. . i was able to run a 15.6 in 95 degree weather. i was SUPER stoked about my .046 reaction though.|

i can drop a good hundred or so pounds...
that also doesnt make up for crappy tires which spun like no other...replaced with g-force sports
exhaust leaks fixed...massive power drain, replaced with 2.5 instead of 2.2 inch exhaust
stock cat replaced...with high flow cat
i think everything ive done since then added up...i could take a half second off.
unfortunately i dont get a LOT of time at a track. so my driving isnt perfect. but i should be able to do it.

Not really, no. A tune will drop a couple tenths total. The weight is according to how much you take out. 100 lbs=1/10th. So with a tune, and minus 300 lbs you can drop a half of a second. That would put you at the number (close to) you want, only problem is where you gonna pull out 300 lbs?
