04zts i found a competent(sp) shop somewhat nearby that will install for $150. that includes installations, harness(i have and will try to have them use to save cash), and $50 to modify my spare center trim piece and make a trim ring. i jumped all over it, and it will be done worst case by the end of them month. i left hime the trim panel and the radio so he can get those mated together ahead of time.

ptannjr i my 03 i mounted it with a plumbing strap behind the bezel. I just then had to trim 2 of the 4 bezel mounting tabs. I then reinstalled the ezel and made a trim ring for the radio. Pretty simple.

WitchCitySVT I'm going to move it here for you. Maybe someone can give you step by step instructions on how to do it yourself.

i bought an eclipse double din nav unit for my wife's 04 focus. i need help installing it, or even paying to have it professinally installed. i have been dealing with micorp, but can't get the guy to return my calls, so i think he lost interest. i know the 04 is 1.8 din, but i have a spare trim panel that can be modified. we are taking a trip at the end of this month, and would like to have it in by then. any help is appreciated. thanks.
