To the best of my knowledge there is no kit available for anything past 2004. But that does not mean it cannot get done- it just means everything has to be ordered by piece part

JimMc I've seen the kit on ebay for 2000-2004 Ford Focus. Will this work on a 2007 Ford Focus SE Wagon?

Doesn't look too daunting according to the instructions. I've read that it can be put together in a few hours. The driver side front wheelwell has to be removed and the controller bolted to the firewall. Then cables and wires run various places and plugged in. If you're interested I can scan the instructions to pdf and make available.

The kit was purchased on eBay for about $250.
Do you have the part number?

xecutionr go to your local dealership and have them get them and install them, incase something fails on it in the future they have to fix it not you.

bk1 Hi,
Reading all this with interest...My 01 died awhile ago and I got a base model 07 zx3 without cruise control. I'm very interested in adding it. Can anyone help direct me to the parts/sensors/modules I will need? I have a friend who goes to wrecking yards frequently and said he could help get me the parts if I gave him a list. Obviously a Wiring Diagram or Detailed Manual would help a lot too.

Alternatively, if there's a kit available please let me know. Here are my details:
2007 ZX3 5 speed
2.0 Duratec
Don't think any others are relevant...

Warren914 Where does it mount? There doesn't seem to be a mounting place for it.
It won't fit above the brake switch, and even if it could go there the shaft is far too long.

I've held it closed with a plastic tie wrap and electical tape and the system is operational. The cruise shuts down when either of the clutch or brake pedals are pressed.

Do you have a picture of how it should look?

mjmallon the green switch mounts about the grey switch on the break pedal assembly, you should have three switches there, and there should be a green electrical connector that plugs into it (nice of them to color code everything at least, lol.)

Warren914 What a pain in the a$$ to install the cruise control. The instructions could certainly be improved, but think I've managed to put it all together. Second time around it would go much better.
Some confusion with the pedal switches. I've got the green switch left over. The schematic diagram says it is a cutoff switch. Where does it mount?
The clutch switch was a simple change over, and the brake pedal was easily connected to. There seems to be nowhere left for the green switch though.
Still have to put the wheel well back into the car, reinstall the air filter, lower dash cover, battery, and then give it a try...

cancamo2 I installed a kit in about 2 hrs. The only color for the steernig wheel I've seen in a kit is tan, so I bought some Duplicolor leather/plastic black paint and painted mine, it has been a year and a half and the paint is still perfect. The only thing I have not figure out is how to activare the cruise light on the dash, I guess a VERY detailed wiring diagram is needed. If need any help let me know.
