shepski ^^ Yes, I burn mine in AIFF format, too, They always play fine, if a bit brittle-sounding at times.

It still irritates me that they didn't make the "Audiophile" headunit capable of reading MP3 CDs - just THINK of the roadtrip with 6 MP3 CDs loaded...

Did I mention yet today how much I love your avatar? YUM!

Same here.

I burn mine with the songs in AIFF which limits the amount I can squeeze onto one disc, but the player never has trouble reading it.

SquillyB under the burn button there should be an arrow, make sure you are burning an audio cd, also click on options and maybe adjust for better quality and slower burn speed.

SquillyB what format are you using to burn AAC, MP3, MP4? AAC files wont play well, what you described is what usually happens

StreetGlideBob I could only get mine to read CD-R's and they had to be a good quality CD like Sony or Maxell and such. No Staples/Office Depot CD's and it would NOT play CD-RW's at all. Also as far as I know it will only paly WAV files as well. No MP3 or ACC files if I remember correctly. But atlast my 9006 quit playing CD (well it stopped loading/changing) so I pulled it and installed my Alpine HU last weekend. lol...
