shepski ^^ Yeah, I drove through the lots of Lincoln/Mazda/Toyota/Nissan dealers yesterday afternoon to check out the rear wipers of the MKX (Edge)/3/Sienna/Quest. I'd bet almost anything that the Quest and Edge/MKX share the same rear wiper - they look exactly the same and seem to have the same measurements (I "measured" each from my elbow to my hand). The 3 arm (and blade) were the longest, I believe, but the Edge was damn close - and looks pretty cool - so I may go with that to save some $$$.

All of 'em should give the same sweep as that 15" or 16" Trico (1" longer than stock) blade I've got on there now. The only loss I'll have will be inside the arc, as none of the blades mentioned above are as long as the Trico (which gets, like, an inch closer to the base of the wiper arm).

I forgot that "my" HVAC got scratched - you told me already. Glad you're rockin' a new one.

(Hey! I can see "my" svt HVAC in those pics!)
I think it's 1" shorter than stock, which is 14in. It is barely noticeable that it is shorter.
You can go out with a ruler and my pic and measure on your car how long it is then compare to the stock.

ahaha do you want it back? it got scratched, but I already replaced with the new unit.

BeeFzX3 Thanks to all who helped on this!
You need to get #1-Wiper arm and #5) Blade assy(required-read above)
Here are the pictures to finish up this tread and for people who actually use the search button...
Sorry some pictures are blurry, but you get the idea.
Here is what you get:
As you can see it's not regular wiper attachment system.

Here you can see how much it wipes:

The result:

Edit/Note:
1. You don't need to buy 3) Wiper arm Cap already comes with the wiper arm.
2. Part numbers:
#1 Wiper Arm - 7T4Z-17526-A; Price ~ $17
#5 Blade Assembly - WW-1412; Price ~$17

scroll back up the thread and read, other people have had the same problems and the popular solution seems to be shaving something or another down a bit...

HawkeyeFLA Well, I figure since I am going to be off from work for 10 days in a row, I can just wander around to a few of the salvage yards here in Central FL. The trick will be finding one that will let me eyeball the part against my car before I have to pay for it ... in case there are some variations in the wiper blade across model years ... but is there a general model year range I should be keeping my eye out for?

focusonthefocus Hit up a salvage yard and hope to get lucky! Just troll some of the mazda3 forums and wait for a wrecked partout.

HawkeyeFLA So I've been wondering ... I have a 2002 ZX3, is there a specific model year of Mazda 3 I am looking for to get the right wiper blade? I've got some vacation time coming up later this month and figured this might be something I go ahead and do. And based on finances going into the vacation, I might finally go up to C-F-M (They're 30m away) and do the SVT HVAC switch.

blackheart4355 Hey,

My Mazda3 wiper blade assembly cost me $10 from a recycler.
