A Focused Family I have no desire to do it unless I have someone helping me and teaching me how to do it right the first time lol.

There's no way I'm giving my SVT's to a dealership to butcher lmao.

Hell...Spradley Barr here local burned to powder coat out of my 5 spokes when they detailed my red one last year. They decided to rotate my tires. never asked for that, but didn't even notice it until I was in the parking lot of the Drury Inn the day of the show at FF14 lol.

After hearing these stories over and over about dealerships that have failed at timing belts on the SVT I am seriously considering hiring a FF member to perform this maintenance on both of my SVT's.

I would pay for a plane ticket and lodging for them plus cash. I have all the tools. Two SVT's in a weekend...to avoid a situation that you are going through.

Man that sucks, but the good news is that you got a lot more work done than what you originally paid for lol. Should be good to go for another 80+K now.

CHEERS!

holygoat I bought my 03 SVTF with 175K on it and have put 3K on it in five months. Replaced a leaking steering pump and steering line, worn belt tensioner and pulley, brakes and tires last week. Drives awesome. Taking it on a cross-country trip next week. Should return home with around 183K.
