Tiger-Heli ZX2003 posted the info here: http://www.focusfanatics.com/forum/s....php?p=4209473

ZX2003 Got the doc from Tiger-Heli (thank you). I'll try to make the thread with all the info soon. Hopefully it can replace this broken thread in the How-To section.

For now, if anyone else would like to download this How To, I'll host the file for now:

tkheaven I still have the doc somewhere. My old link is no longer working because I changed hosting sites.. There's a main How-To Archive link just below the thread name you're currently in (look up lol) OR .. click *Complete 'How To' Archive* (HUGE List)

Otherwise you can do a search "How-To" and you'll get a list of threads where the mods are mentioned and commented on

Tiger-Heli File sent.

Actually, that's not a bad idea at all - I've resisted doing it b/c it's a 5 Mb Word Doc with lots of pictures, but there's no reason the pictures couldn't be uploaded to a photo-hosting site and then the info posted to a thread.

If you need help with that or if you'd prefer I do it, let me know ...

(I think part of the problem was that whoever developed the guide initially didn't necessarily give permission for it to be posted, but he also didn't really give permission for the Word.doc to be hosted anywhere and/or for the file to be E-mailed to everyone.)

ZX2003 Well if you wouldn't mind sending me the file to alexandermwick@gmail.com. That would be awesome.

Also i would be more than happy to make a thread with all the info in the file. I dont know why all this info isn't just in a thread to begin with, but i feel like it would last a lot longer that way vs posting a bunch of dead links

Tiger-Heli I have the file - just don't have a way to host it anymore.

ZX2003 Anyone still got a working link?
I tried everyone i found in this thread

Tiger-Heli Glad you found the link.

The solution isn't as easy as you are implying.

The original text is a 5M Word file with graphics, which I don't think the forum allows as an attachment.

What I think you would need to do for your suggestion is export the 40 or so images in the Word file as .jpgs and upload them to imageshack or photobucket or similar, then copy the text and paste it in a reply here and link to the uploaded files at the appropriate points in the text.

I also have the original document and can do that if anyone else wants it done.

kris4christ2 Just for the record, NONE of the links work in this thread anymore - I went through all 8 pages, and even pages from the original threads and such. Why hasn't anyone just posted (copy & past) the information here, instead of constantly asking for emails or following dead ends?

EDIT: Well, after a bit more searching, I found 2 working links (one brought from FocalJet) in a different thread here: http://www.focusfanatics.com/forum/s...h+color+change . It was posted Sept. 2011, so hopefully it lasts a bit longer. I have the files saved in case anyone needs them in the future.

tkheaven The doc is the same as what was originally posted eons ago. Don't think there were any changes made, it's pretty self explanitory...
