CivicHatch+SVT-F i was gonna say honda-tech. but they dont really do any "bench" racing on that forum. Its all strictly technical. Theres really not much to a GSR motor. Its just extremely reliable, built solid, and has tons and tons of aftermarket support. I've read articles on all-motor GSR's pumping out about 525+ hp and about 740+hp boosted and they are noted as "daily drivers". Torque is the only issue with the motor stock (as with every other honda motor because they like keeping the engine as light as possible which is where Vtec comes in). Integra's (and every other honda with the exception of the H22) is a bitch to launch from a dead stop and most cars will pull a Honda off the line. Vtec is what helps this lack of torque by delivering a boost of it usually around 5400rpms and carrying through until redline (redline in hondas can be as high as 10 grand if race-prepped). A good example is my friend Scott's GSR. If it just rained and the roads are slightly wet he can punch it in 1st gear and his tires will break loose when Vtec engages. Same with my friend Ron's 93 H22 hatch but on dry roads. Although that has a nice amount of torque since its a 2.2 its pretty cool seeing a car punch first and second and seeing the tires break loose a bit when hitting vtec (not to mention the 3psi turbo he's running). Prime example of Vtec was someone who started a thread called "got beat by a POS civic". He said he launched on him and was ahead until the end of 2nd gear and he started riding out on the Focus.

Hey, read his signature. It's cloudy in there. He's probably smoking too much of the good stuff. Hard to concentrate when he is high.

h22's are rated at 200 hp and b18c1's are rated at 170. What are you talking about?
