SkaAddict Yeah, its not going to be very stable...I wouldn't take any sharp curves at anything over 10 MPH with the endlinks removed. Odds are that's your problem...a good test is to take the load off the front end and check the endlinks for play...if they're good they shouldn't move at all or very little at the most, when they're dead they'll wiggle all over the place. My passenger-side endlink was so shot that I was able to pull the ball out of the socket with little resistance. Shoot b16sir1991 a PM, he works at a Ford dealer and is a sponsor on here (Hillbish Ford in the affiliate forums.) I got a pair of factory links for $30 + S&H from him.

illinipo I would think that removing the sway endlinks would just make it like youre driving a car without a swaybar...

Running without a sway bar endlink

Hi guys,
Ive been having a clunking noise from front suspension for long time. Inspected the bushing, joint but everything was fine. Have changed front calipers, front sturts, strut mouth bushing but the noise still remains. The guys that inspected my car said even the sway bar link was still in a good condition and he seemed to be giving up finding the noise on my car. Now i just wanna make sure that it is really sway bar endlink that caused the noise before i replace them. Can i drive the car for just a couple blocks with sway bar endlink disconnected? If the noise is gone that means i really need to change it.
Really sick of this car, giving it up soon.
