2nd_to_none well i started at 25 psi couldnt get that good of grip so i went to 20 psi and ran some 16.0 (which is bad) and still couldnt grip so well..... i thought about going to 15 cuz some other guys did and it worked well for them but i didnt... i need to drop that puppy a little bit cuz i just couldnt get any bite. i tried launching at 3k rpms 2k, and no reving and still would spin so back to square 1

Busted_00_ZX3 20-25psi agreed ^^^^

Then try 16-18 and compare your 60 against 20-25 range.
You never want to start that low you want to work your way that low until you find the right pressure. Goodluck.

dirtbrown thats too low....
id say ur at 40 which is already pretty high...
bring it down to 25 and ur cool...
that should get u off the line alot better
and create less drag down the track

Buickboy Try dropping it and do a run, couldnt hurt. Hope you get enough runs to play with launching/ tire pressure combos. let us know how it goes

Well im racing in the morning and have everything tuned and ready to go BUT i dont know how low to go with the tire pressure.... i have 215-45-17s and i want to bring the tire pressure down so i can launch better. i have them set at 40 psi now but i was thinking about bringing them way down to like 15-20 psi, just the front thou leave the rear hard.. what is your opinion?
