Anaxagoras1986 Wait sorry I got a different CEL. A completely different one... never mind.
03-23-2007 03:34 PM
CaysE It depends where you look it up. It should be an emissions code, not PATS.

Anaxagoras1986 I have also been getting this CEL. I looked it up and it showed a PATS signal being weak.

Anaxagoras1986 I thought it was this thing but according to Cayse's thread I'm mistaken...

sleepyboy I believe it is by the alternator on the firewall it has vacum lines going to it. Check the electrical connections going to it maybe there loose? but that is where it is at I'm pretty sure. your not talking about the a/c evaporator right? the emissions one right? its by the strut tower the only thing on the firewall by that side.

Ok...where´s the evaporator canister vent?

Hi! From a series of DTC´s I passed to only one.

P1451
a user in technical chat has answered me :

"P1451 is a fault in the solenoid circuit for the evaporator canister vent. It's probably stuck open. I'm afraid I've never replaced one before, so I don't know what it entails. Hopefully others can fill you in."

where´s the evaporator canister vent, and how can I test it?
Many thanks!
