Expect armored truck style slit windows to be fashionable in 2010. Don't laugh, it's gonna happen.

You can thank SUVs and pickups for current higher window sill designs in most cars these days.

mmmoose It seems like there's an increasing trend in automobile companies that involve creating more blind spots. Do they think that creating more blind spots make driving these cars more exciting in a roller coaster sorta way? I don't get it. Just like others have stated, I don't like how the rear of the 2008 Focus coupe is hiked up like that. Okay, I'll give it to them that it looks a little stylish and sporty, but it also kills rear visibility dramatically.

The current ZX3s also have side windows that sweep upward slightly, but where this design redeems itself is how the rear window has sort of a downward dip at the center, helping adequately with rear visibility. The 2008 coupe doesn't do this. The hiked up trunk hogs up any rear window room that might've helped with visibility issues.

Does anyone also know how much those proximity object sensors cost on luxury cars? You know, the one that beeps with increasing intensity as you get closer to objects to prevent you from hitting something. Why hasn't this become a standard feature for cars yet? If they're going to mess with the driving visibility of these cars, the least they can do is offer that feature for safety reasons. Sigh...

SVT Robzor Breaking news: Ford fires engineering team, debuts RWD Focus Coupe. Enthusiast crowd rejoices, Ford stock up 18%.

Sadly, this is what it would take for me to dump the SVT in favor of a new Focus.

The reskin is neat looking, I was hoping for un-camo'd pics instead of the Edmunds shots again. Unfortunately, repainting an old car just gives you an old car with new paint, not enough for moi.

Stuka I really dislike the look of the coupe. The ass end being so tall reminds me of the neon, which I also can't stand the look of because the ass end is a mile taller than the front end. But of course, no hatch means no 08+ focus for me.
