focuson03 brian, if you need some help on doing new brakes on the hatch, let me know. i knocked mine out in like 45 mins. i highly recommend the ones i had on the car. bought them from, i think they were EBC slotted/dimpled rotors and Mintex pads.

CrazyMatt GREAT pics.. Looked like fun!

lildisco it was quite funny actually, Brian had me in the straights, but I had him in the Twisties. Towards the end of the last run, he was starting to get rid of his 'Rally Style' fear and we were pretty much going balls to the wall. I'd leave just enough room between us in the corners to where he couldn't pass me in the straights

Plus he said some wiring fell on his gas pedal and made it over to the brake pedal witch made it kinda hard to shift. But yeah no real 'action' shots. I think that next year i won't even stand a chance in the twisties or the straights against Brian Oh well, i just need some SVT's to show up

I was totally whoring to this lady in my town that owns a 2001 S2 edition that her son drives. He will just be turning 17, and already wants to start modding his focus Hope he joins up. Plus i told her that Auto-X and Road Courses will help his everyday driving technique Now lets just hope we can talk him outta the Fart Can Exhaust that some shop in Lorain wants to put on his focus

OrangeSVTguy chasing or passing... like when he was in the mud hole

lildisco Yeah but only like 20minutes before my battery died. And there wasn't any 'heated' action going on like me chasing Brian or anything

I'd hope that was when me and you were going at it in the last session

tiresmoker ^^^yep, still got the stockers, but I don't have ABS Val said she wasn't gonna clean my wheels either, dude you should see 'em. I'll snap a pick when I get home.

And another thing, wanna talk about brake fade. It was terrible. Devon is running Hawk pads and power slot rotors and he said he didn't have any. But believe you me when I say the stock brake pads can't handle this type of driving.

Towards the ends of the 30 minute sessions I was literally lifting off the throttle and hoping the car would stay on all fours through the turns. I would push the brakes in and I wouldn't slow down at all. On the way home when I almost passed up my road and stuffed the brakes, Val was folowing behind me and she said the front brakes were smokin like crazy

I'd have to say though the best part of the day was flying through the kink at 100+ mph.

OrangeSVTguy very dirty wheels = long day for val
too bad you didn't have all wheel drive... you coulda just drifted through that big mud puddle.

do you still have the stock brakes? time to upgrade maybe?
i stopped hard from well above 120 and kept my car on the road

tiresmoker ^^^^lol, the short bus

Thanks for the compliments on the wheels, although after that the fronts are no longer gold, they're more of a blackish brown from all the brake dust They need a good cleaning, plus I think there still may be some mud stuck in there
