goinloco1 i appreciate the pm, but ive already had the tool cut down locally on a lathe.

one other slight problem i see with the pin. really more of a suggestion for future reference and thought. knurle the knob on it. after working on a car your hands are usually a little greasy and trying to twist a smooth object between your fingers....

We have informed the customers about this issue before the website was updated. The part has been updated with this note on our website since you have purchased this item. We did not know about this issue until October 16 when we were trying to us it on our customers car. We hope aem will fix this problem shortly.

should i be happy?

Sorry cfm. was a first time customer.

ok, now the good stuff. i open the package all happy it finally got here to look at the new tools to discover (gasp!) that i have to cut the pin down because it was made to long by aem (according to your note).
now why not let people know its wrong before its ordered? or have aem correct the problem?
now i have to spend time, money, and gas to have it cut down to length. and no i wont hacksaw something thats supposed to be a specialty tool.

done ranting... sorta
