The inner hood supports can be removed with a cut-off wheel as well if you're VERY careful. You can slip a small piece of 20-24 gauge sheel metal between the inner support and hood skin, that way if the cut-off wheel slips it only contacts the sheet metal. Not as fast as a plasma cutter, but it works.
AWESOME car! It would make one helluva nice SCCA ITE track car.

|hypnoticracing||the inner supports were plasma cut out, how heavy is the hood tom? is it lighter than a carbon fiber hood? we do this to our race cars ebcause we have to run steel body but they are still about 8 lbs|
