Kyllgore i wouldn't worry about, if you shift hard enough to break anything
stop watching fast and the furious, shifting quick is more important
than shifting hard, also you can't go in reverse by accident anyways

Because when you shift hard after a while you tend to break the base that hold the shifter in place.

blanezx3 I don't have a reverse lockout on my FC shifter and never had any problem going into reverse on accident. Really don't see why anyone would...

I would trust CFM. They get a lot of great reviews here and on the jet.

focusdarko i have it but have yet to put it in, sometime next week when my metal shift base comes in(thanks to V6focus) im having them installed. i dont think i would ram it into reverse cus i barely use 5th unless im on the highway.

does anybody have this? or can anybody vouch for it's quality? also, anybody out there with an sts without reverse lockout, is it dangerous, or have you ever slammed it into reverse on accident?
