WitchCitySVT We haven't set a date yet.I just got my car back, which leads me to my next question. How will the new stock clutch and fly wheel react? Do I need to let it break in a bit before I just hit the track?

svt_gEEk When's the big race?? I think it's gonna be a driver race. Although he does have you beat in the power department, what's he gonna do when he can't get power to the track efficiently? The SVTF should be able to beat the SRT-4 in braking and mid-corner which will translate to more exit speed for the SVTF eventhough the SRT-4 has more power, you should be able to out-brake and beat the SRT back into the gas and it'll take some long straightaways for the SRT to have a big advantage. So it's gonna come down to the driver. GL.

Oni The talented Mini drivers usually don't compete here.

Carrera26 They do tend to do that, don't they...

My bitter rival in GS is a Mini on R-comps.

zal ^ they put me in HS against this SOB Mini with r-comp tires...thing was keeping up with the miatas and z06's

Carrera26 In all honesty though, when you are stating out they will put you in the most appropriate class for your experience level. Once you get some experience, usually about 4-5 events, they will start putting you in your technical class.

Oni Different struts/dampers and a front sway bar, yes. Different springs and rear sway bar, no. That puts you into STS if you have no other modications.

ALaS Are you allowed to have struts/dampers along with springs and a rear sway bar and stay in the stock class?

Venom713 Air pressure in the tires are a big help. fool around with different PSI to find how much better she can perform. For me and some other guys at the track, you'd put more air in the front tires, and less in the back... it helped a TON!
