gimp_my_ride to all those saying that their focus "came from the factory with the mod":

do your fogs work like running lights?
i.e. - on no matter what as long as the car is on (w/ no lights, parking light, dims, and brights... ALWAYS on)

My 06 ST came with the "mod".

gimp_my_ride you have to do any cutting on the wiring or did you jump/add/splitoff something

blight0x Um.. yea I have an 05 and I'll take a few pictures and do alittle How-To. I think the mod cost me $2.00.

eazyrider_tim ohhhhhhhhhh, gotcha.

gimp_my_ride actually, i'm trying to get the mod like you can do on the '04 and below, where it comes on automatically and stays on with the brights.

at the moment, they only come on with parking lights and with low beams.

eazyrider_tim My 05 has the "mod" stock, I can just drive with just my fog lights and driving lights on no problem.

hmmm, have you tried turning it to the running lights, then pulling it out for the fog lights.

gimp_my_ride Sorry I haven't gotten back for a while. I've been coding or the past 2 weeks so my brain's been mush

It looks like the diagram is saying to jump off of the DRL's wire at the light and run it down to the wire at the Fog light. looks like there's no relay for them though (just switches) so no really easy way to do the mod unless you make a T connector to plug in between your light (fog and headlamp) and the wiring harness.

anyone else taken a look at this yet?

05-BLACK-ZX5 Those are just the first pages of the diagrams. If you need the rest, I'll have to scan them, but more than likely, it sounds like all the info for this should be on the first page.

just got back from camping with the inlaws. i'll print this out and take a look at it tomorrow. if i get it going, i'll take pictures for the other new model owners that want to do this mod
