actually, it's better to just hold the brake, then on the last yellow, let off the brake and mash the gas....
it's acutally better than loading the torque converter before hand, by holding the brakes and gas....
try a run both ways, see which works better for you...

|svtguy88||LMAO....no, not neutral drops.....the only thing that would be worse would be reverse drops.....I was talking about drag launching an ATX. lol|

|jaykirs||^^^ It is EXTREMELY hard on the tranny!!!! And on the engine mounts and the axels and the CV joints and the torque converter ..... it can easily destroy your tranny, I highly recommend NOT doing neutral drops! lol|

|svtguy88||Hey, not to steal a thread or anything, but how bad is this for the ATX?|

|jaykirs||Place tranny in neutral, floor the gas pedal, then slap it into gear when the light turns green ...... that is NOT the way you want to launch LOL ..... the method listed above is about as good as your going to be able to do unless you get a stall converter and a trans brake.|

|eazyrider_tim||And I have Wayne's tune from HIA, worth every penny....running the 93 octane aggressive tune.......shifts like a dream man....I hit 50 in first at wot.|

|P0WeRbyDuratec||lol its that simple. but something like a sct tune from focussport will adjust your shift points. It is a huge improvement by the way|

step on the brake........mash the gas to 2500rpm.
step off the brake........put the pedal to the floor and bite your nails.

|Carrera26||All I know is that you should definitely not do any neutral drops. Perhaps you already knew that, but I always want to mention it.|
