|Dave||Last autocross I used same seatbelt trick, but I had to get seatbelt to stop like a inch or 2 away from buckle then force it in or it would come loose, was actually decently effective but hurt my chest, lol. Still didn't hold me as well as harness. Before I used simpson 5 point (which I will be using again) and it was great. I just got one that had long straps in the back and bolted them to rear seat belt bolts, and it helped out a bunch.|

I learned a cool trick for the stock belt @ my first race....until you get yourself something, this will help.
Recline you seat slightly and pull belt over your shoulder just short of the buckle....then yank quickly to lock the belt and keep the tension on it. Now twist the belt a few times and click it in. Tilt your seat forward and you are in pretty snug.

|Carrera26||CG Lock is good, especially for as cheap as it is. I actually have a strap that I use for my torso, just a couple yards of seabelt material with a plastic clip that I put around my chest at the track. It actually works REALLY well, super cheap, no mods required, and you just unclip it when you're done.|

I think this is probably as good as you can get for a car without a roll bar or roll cage.

I am looking to get a harness for autocrossing using the stock svt seats. Does anyone here use a harness system w/ the svt seats?
