Like suss said, based on your gas millage and adjust accordingly as you drive. I think the highest mine has read is about 417 miles when I filled mine up getting about 35mpg.

Better average fuel economy on their car's computer times the remaining quantity of the 12.4 gallon fuel tank = more miles estimated DTE remaining.

Assuming both cars were 100% full at the time:
346/12.4=27.9 mpg
376/12.4=30.32 mpg

I've seen DTEs over 400 miles before which is only an estimated average of 32 mpg, at the 37 mpg highway rating and a full tank the DTE can be as high as 458 or more miles. Doesn't mean you can go that far as it is an average based on your past driving style and running the car out of fuel is a bad idea.

There is only one fuel tank on the non RS Foci in North America the 12.4 gallon tank.

Nator I just turned 100k miles on my 2012 SEL (which you would believe from some of the threads, each and every one of this first year is DOOMED to explode in every possible way). Never had my clutches changed. In fact its smoother now than it ever was.
Had a little shuddering back around 40k, when in very hot weather in bumper to bumper traffic, but i just ignored it. Even that does not happen now.
Not downplaying the people who have had real problems, i feel for them. Just saying dont sweat it so much and imigine yourself/get influenced into problems that you may not actually have. I know i was getting swayed into thinking my car was going bad when i felt those little inconsistencies a couple years ago, but they turned out to be nothing in my case.
The way its running now i expect to get another 100k miles easy! (knock on wood ) :)

JoshuaCurrie Just hit 70k. No real big problems except DCT issues which is common but the new clutches seam to be doing great.
