Bertozx3 Thank you for a sec. I thought you were going to mess with me.. but yeah it's well worth the mod as stated earlier.

Krnac#15 This mod can also be achieved with a filter designed for this. All you need to do is order the summit brand filter for a 2012 focus from summit racing. It is made by Green filters and has there name on it.It is the filter of choice on other forums.I got it for $40 i believe last september when i got my 13 ST.Also cut my air box cover to still have protection and more air flow.fits std airbox with lid if wanted and only 1 clamp like stock.Has pleated end instead of cap like stocker.

Bertozx3 Well the adapter clamp that had to be bought separate was in a two pieces that one over laps and the way the cone filter fit in there was chance only for the fact that I had to cut up the clamp in half in order to fit on the very small lip. Trust me it has no leaks I have driven in rain. Also it's quite easy to fit in the small space. I do warn you though I'm running like a c.a.I. without the housing covering the filter but I figure it should be fine I'm not running through puddles though.. Hey better sound from the turbo like 3x as loud and no harm done to my wallet only 50 US dollars..

silvrbuletZX3 What did u use to put the sensor part of the intake to the new filter. The lip on it is really thin

motor Nice pic and simple/clean install. Ty for sharing.

Bertozx3 Part number follows.. 'RE-0930 it's a universal fit I did however had to buy a coupler adapter like extra 10 dollars on top of the 40 dollars on the filter! It's cheap easy to install I have no experience with much with modding cars I only have done routine maintenance.

Bertozx3 Hey I'm sorry for not getting back to quick.. but here's what's on the box 'RE-00930 the opening is like 2.5 in wide.. don't quote me.. but it was 40 dollars u.s. in my local parts store (shucks auto parts store).
