thenorm Conti DW. Conti DWS. both awesome in the rain, although i have blown 2 sidewalls out when my wife clipped a curb. and I have freinds who also have had failures in the sidewall (due to curbs or underinflation etc). so maybe weak sidewall but otherwise awesome.

fastguy82 Thanks for the info thus far guys. Smooth ride rude, low volume on road noise are what in looking for. O will look into the Firehawks and continentals as well.

barker1964 Firestone Firehawk Wide Oval. Great in rain as well as a awesome dry tire no road noise. BTW mounted on a 2002 SVTF

Insaniac Continental DWS but they are pretty worn down. Overall I was quite pleased with the DWS tires in everything from ice/snow to dry. They are getting increasingly noisy as they get further worn down which is annoying, but not that bad really.

I'm trying to hold out long enough I can put a set of the Continental Extreme winter tires on my current rims in the fall and then in the spring pick up a set of the 2004 SVT 6-spokes and put some Continental DW tires on those.
