shananigans89 following my stock headers, i have a 2.5inch high flow cat and flex pipe made by Dominic of Dominant Engineering (i highly recommend those, very good quality!!!). those are followed by a 2.5inch catback system from Trubendz. it has no resonator, and a borla muffler.

i will be honest, it drones a lot on the highway and pretty much everywhere else, it screams at WOT, and it has a very nice, noticeable borla rumble after the exhaust is warm at 3k rpm and below. however, i don't think it sounds like a honda. its pretty loud and i love the sound! i've been meaning to post a new video on youtube since i've gotten several thousand miles on the high flow cat made by dominic. it sounds much better, but is quite raspy at 3k rpms when the exhaust is not warm (cold start, early morning). that's all paired with a K&N Typhoon short ram.

my mazda 3 has a 2.3L Duratec and all i've got for exhaust is an actual magnaflow catback system (with resonator and all, 2.25in pipe), and that's paired with an AEM CAI. that car has a nice rumble, sounds very very good at WOT and doesnt drone nearly as bad on the highway as the focus.

i love both exhaust sounds on both cars, however, i would like to try a magnaflow muffler (2.5 inch if possible) on the focus. i get compliments all the time on both cars' exhaust notes.

I have the Borla and I think that it sounds good. Not too loud, but throaty when you get on the throttle.

Thats their exhaust system using Borla's or Magna flows muffler's. Its not a true Borla kit or Magna flow kit. They just use the mufflers & weld them on.

felixthecat Frpp's Borla is a great exhaust system. I've installed a center exit system on a svt yrs ago. And have one on my st. I've since installed a fwerk's header & added a stealth muffler which by the way is a magna-flow, & moved the borla behind the stealth & it fits too.

SVTisRight4me Might buy a magnaflow (2.25) full cat back exhaust
But the oem is 2.5 is the small piping going to change anything on performance?
I think I heard that its not as good as stock when it comes to low end? Please help ASAP!!!
Thanks:)
