Mach clear lense swap

SO, today I went to put in my clear lenses on my machs, and I know and understand how to do it completely, once the projector is out.. That's the problem. I tried loosening the aiming screw, completely popping it out, everything I could think of, and nothing. that sucker is STUCK in there. the black piece the aiming ball sticks into, is connected to the chrome plastic piece, as well as the projector, so that suck. i can't get it to go at the right angle to be able to get it out. do you guys have any idea what i'm doing wrong? I can't figure it out, and had to give up and just put new bulbs in today, since it's like 10 degrees outside and there is a blizzard coming. Any help would be awesome so I can get this done first chance i get again.
