gondorian Yes, but there is no way buy new the brackets you need to do it. Most people get them off a focus svt or st. Sometimes the kit to convert the brakes will come up in the buy/sell/trade section, or an svt will be parted out.

Thank you
I will jack it up and try your idea.
Any people out there putting rear disc brakes on? I hate drum brakes

gondorian Try jacking up the back end and spinning the tires by hand and see if you hear it. While you are at it check and see if the bearings in the rear are worn or not. If it isn't convenient to jack it up you can try just coasting with the car off and the windows down and listening. This should allow you to isolate the location of the noise. If you do this make sure it is on an empty road, both for safety reasons and so you can hear better.

New to me 07 ZX3 with lots of road noise

I just purchased a 07 ZX3 and have a question about road noise. The noise is more of a bearing sound from the rear rather than tire noise. Is this normal? It is very noticeable when coming to a stop and that also tells me it is not tire noise.
Any help is appreciated

Mike
