ebruss45 have had the hose off and pluged up for over 200 miles now and just installed the short ram air and no check engine light and no problems, still dont know what the hose does but im guessing its not nessesary to have

Oh its definitely worth it , i should have gotten one , as my splash guard was missing at the time i did the mod , but i chose power over care lol and i paid for it in the end

choate Gonna do the Stealth. Quick, easy and keeps everything basically stock yet still allows good cool air to come in. I realize the pre-filter may reduce air flow a little but it's worth it to me since it's going to be hanging down a little.

choate Here is the filter and pre-filter I went with. Looks awesome. The pre-filter is very cool. I'm not worried about water w/ this on there - unless the car was submerged or something but this is pretty much water tight.

sam fisher Maybe try pulling the hose from the resonator box , plugging it , and driving for like 15-20 minutes too see if there are any ill effects .

ebruss45 ok did a little more searching and found a pic of what im talking about and maybe somebody can look on their car and see if they have this hose and where it goes(p.s. i dont have a SRI and this is not my car, this hose on my car goes to the air silencer box)[IMG][/IMG]
